Candy Grapes Recipe
You will need:
20-25 skewers
Candy thermometer
Baking mat
Ingredients:
20-25 firm grapes
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup light corn syrup
5-6 drops of white gel food coloring
2-4 drops of your choice of food coloring
Instructions:
1. Wash and thoroughly dry the grapes. Insert skewers into the grapes and set them aside. 2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and corn syrup. Stir to mix them together. 3. Place the saucepan over medium-high heat on the stove. Insert the candy thermometer into the mixture, ensuring it doesn't touch the bottom of the pan. 4. Add white gel food coloring and your choice of food coloring to the mixture. Do not stir. 5. Cook until the temperature reaches 300 degrees Fahrenheit, then remove from heat immediately. 6. Dip the skewered grapes into the mixture as demonstrated in the video, then place them on the baking mat. 7. Allow the candy-coated grapes to cool for about 15 minutes before enjoying.
